Carl Anthony remembers his first meeting with Karl Linn in North Philadelphia in the 1960s. Carl Anthony is an architect and planner, Ford Foundation Fellow and former Ford Foundation Director of Community and Resource Development, co-founder and former executive director of Urban Habitat, convenor of the Bay Area Alliance for Sustainable Development, and former president of the Earth Island Institute. He wrote the epilogue for Building Commons and Community.
